Wing’s Investment World
Wing’s Investment World?
Wing’s Investment World
What is Wing’s Investment World?
Wing’s Investment World focuses on U.S. and Taiwan equities, with particular emphasis on AI infrastructure, semiconductors, and technology companies.
Rather than focusing only on share-price movements, I look at what is happening underneath them: how technology is evolving, how supply chains are shifting, where companies are allocating capital, whether competitive advantages are strengthening or weakening, and what expectations are already reflected in market valuations.
My research draws from earnings reports, SEC filings, management commentary, industry data, supply-chain developments, and technology trends.
The goal is simple:
Turn complex information into clear and understandable investment analysis.
About Me
My professional background is primarily in financial institutions, including banking and private wealth management, with a focus on product, business analysis, and project management rather than frontline sales.
One of the most valuable aspects of project management is that every new project comes with a new learning curve. Working with frontline teams, product specialists, operations, regulatory and compliance functions, and IT means constantly having to understand how different parts of an organisation think and operate.
To manage a project effectively, it is rarely enough to understand only your own area. You gradually learn why the business has a particular requirement, what regulatory constraints sit behind a decision, how operational processes actually work, and how technology ultimately translates those requirements into systems that people can use.
Over time, knowledge that originally belonged to completely different departments begins to connect almost without you noticing.
Looking back, it reminds me of Steve Jobs’ idea of “connecting the dots.” Many experiences may not appear particularly connected at the time, but at some point, the dots accumulated over the years suddenly begin to form a much clearer picture.
I studied IT at undergraduate level and later completed a Master of Finance, driven by a long-standing interest in investing and financial markets.
That combination has shaped the way I analyse companies.
I tend to approach businesses from three perspectives at the same time: finance, technology, and business strategy.
This is particularly important in AI and semiconductors, where many of the factors that ultimately determine competitive advantage are buried deep inside technology architectures, product roadmaps, capital expenditure, supply chains, and manufacturing capacity.
Those are the areas I spend most of my time studying.
What I Cover
The publication primarily covers:
AI Infrastructure
GPUs, XPUs, AI servers, data centres, networking, optical interconnects, CPO, power and energy infrastructure.
Semiconductors
Advanced nodes, HBM, advanced packaging, semiconductor equipment, materials, and the broader AI chip supply chain.
Technology & Growth Companies
Business models, competitive positioning, management execution, financial performance, and long-term growth opportunities.
Markets & Investment Opportunities
Fundamentals remain the core focus, but I also follow market sentiment, capital flows, industry cycles, and changes in valuation.
The objective is not simply to explain what happened, but to examine:
Why did it happen?
What does it mean for the industry?
What should investors watch next?
Why This Publication Exists
The problem investors face today is rarely a lack of information.
It is the opposite.
Earnings reports, news, social media, supply-chain updates, analyst research, and industry data arrive continuously. The difficult part is identifying what actually matters, separating signal from noise, and connecting individual developments into a coherent investment thesis.
That is what Wing’s Investment World is designed to do.
The publication does not aim to chase every market narrative or create FOMO. The focus is on understanding businesses and industries through a more structured, long-term lens.
Because very often, the most valuable investment insight is not in the headline.
It is in the second level of thinking behind it.
